I consider Women In Voice an empowering platform to connect with inspiring people all over the world working to advance voice technology or bring its innovation closer to the users.
My main motivation to join WiV Germany as ambassador was to help expose more women in tech into this exciting, new field and to promote those who have achieved great things.
For this reason, I am organizing the next two WiV webinars featuring inspirational speakers such as Noelle Silver and Rupal Patel, who are leading pioneers in Voice AI/tech and have helped to empower others.
The interaction of humans with machines through voice has always been a fascination for me. While we have witnessed incredible advancement in voice-first human-computer interaction, I believe we are still at the beginning of the technological journey and a lot to be done. This fascination was a key driver of my post-doc research work in Conversational AI technology, which allows building intelligent assistants with a special focus in healthcare.
Particularly the intersection of Conversational AI and Health lies at the core of my interest, my passion and my work. I founded my startup Zana to make an impact with tools that improve patient engagement while leveraging voice to monitor disease or help diagnosis. It is also my goal in leading the actions of the Working Group Health at the German AI Association to promote AI in health and women-led initiatives.
